Historia
El origen de la actual funeraria hay que buscarlo en los albores del S. XIX, en la capital de la provincia de Jaén, de donde al parecer, la familia Cobo es oriunda y
ya por aquel entonces se dedicaba a la actividad de Pompas Fúnebres.
En el último cuarto del S. XIX, una rama de la familia, buscando mejor fortuna, se instala en la localidad de Montoro (Córdoba), influenciada por unos amigos que insisten en que abran el negocio familiar, puesto que en la población no había funeraria. La empresa familiar pasa de generación en generación, hasta la
actualidad que es la cuarta.
En 1998 se abre en Montoro el segundo Tanatorio de la provincia de Córdoba.
En el año 2000 se adquiere la funeraria de la vecina localidad de Villa del Rio.
En 2007 se inaugura el Tanatorio de Villa del Rio, en cuyas instalaciones se
incluye el primer Crematorio de la Comarca y que presta servicio a una
importante población de las provincias de Córdoba y Jaén.
